The Couch to 5k running plan (www.coolrunning.com) has been a major part of the change in my weight and body shape this year. At New Year's, I made a resolution - for the first time in my life. I said I would run a 5k fun run in the first half of the year, and a 10k in the second. I discovered the C25k through the WW community and started it in January. I am currently doing week 7 of the 9 week program, and am up to running 25 minutes 3 times a week - and loving it!
My fun runs are planned for the 11th of March (3k), 22nd April (5k), Mother's Day (8k) and I will find a good 10k in the second half. So far I am absolutely loving the new fitness, and I look forward to being able to run for the rest of my life!
